You can now view your affiliate's Instagram posts that mention your brand and save teh content automatically within Social Snowball. Additionally, you can access various analytics to track engagement for each post & story that tags your brand and is posted on Instagram by your affiliates.
Note: Instagram content tracking is only available for brands on Blizzard or Enterprise plans.
To enable this, open the Media tab from your merchant dashboard and click Connect Instagram.
Go through the steps to connect your Meta account associated to your business's Instagram page.
Select the businesses you're connecting to your Social Snowball and click Continue.
Choose your brand's page(s) that are connected to the Instagram account(s) from where Social Snowball will track the UGC and click Continue.
Finally, select the Instagram account(s) that affiliates can tag to share their UGC and analytics with you.
Click Save after granting Social Snowball the necessary permissions to track UGC.
Next, go to the Integrations tab in your Social Snowball dashboard to confirm that your Instagram account is connected.
Once your Instagram is connected, affiliates will be prompted to connect their Instagram accounts to Social Snowball from their affiliate dashboard. (Tutorial for affiliates)
You can check the Media tab to see the content your affiliates are posting on Instagram.
When an affiliate posts any content on Instagram and mentions your brand (eg "@yourbrandpage") in their caption, their content appears directly on your Social Snowball account's Media tab.
You can check the posts and also view the analytics (reach, plays, likes, shares, and comments) for each post that your creator affiliates publish.
Additionally, you can view the affiliate's Social Snowball profile by clicking the 'View affiliate profile' button, download the content directly by clicking the download icon, and open the post on Instagram by clicking the pop-out icon next to the download icon.
You can also view an affiliate's linked Instagram as well as their recent mentions directly from their affiliate profile.
Important notes:
The creator must be added as an affiliate to your Social Snowball account.
