Social Snowball integrates with TikTok Shop to help you manage and grow your TikTok Shop affiliate collaborations right from your Social Snowball dashboard. This integration allows you to enroll your existing and new DTC affiliates into TikTok Shop collaborations from their affiliate dashboard, and lets you create a unified sign up flow for new affiliates to enroll in both your DTC and TikTok Shop affiliate programs.
Configuring this integration is broken down into 4 steps:
Add the TikTok Shop app to your seller account
Set open collaboration products and commissions
Enable the open collaboration for program(s) in Social Snowball
Affiliates connect their creator accounts and add your products to their showcase
Add the TikTok Shop app to your seller account
To connect Social Snowball to your TikTok Shop, first log in to your Social Snowball merchant dashboard and navigate to the Integrations tab. Once there, click on Connect next to TikTok Shop.
In the popup that appears, select the seller region where your TikTok Shop account primarily operates.
After selecting your seller account type, follow the authorization steps in the same popup to connect your primary TikTok Shop seller account.
After completing the authorization, you will be redirected back to Social Snowball, where you’ll see that the TikTok Shop integration is now connected.
As a merchant, you must be a registered seller on TikTok Shop to connect your TikTok account with Social Snowball. Learn more about becoming a TikTok Shop seller here.
Set open collaboration products and commissions
Once you connect your TikTok Shop account, go to the TikTok Shop tab of your dashboard and click the Add Products button. This will pull a list of your current products from TikTok Shop.
Select products to add to your open collaboration and set your commission rate for each product.
The products and commissions you configure here will be added to your open collaboration. If your products are already in your open collaboration, set the same commission rate in Social Snowball as the commission you previously configured in TikTok Shop. If you set a different commission for a product already in your open collaboration, the new commission you set will override the previous one.
Once you've added the products, you can see them under Open Collaboration Products, along with their commission percentages.
Enable the open collaboration for program(s) in Social Snowball
Next, select a program whose affiliates you wish to enroll in your open collaboration, or create a new one.
In the program, turn on TikTok Shop Collaboration.
Note: To enable TikTok Shop Collaboration for an existing program, you can do so via the section indicated below:
Affiliates connect their creator accounts and add your products to their showcase
Once you have enabled the TikTok Shop Collaboration for a particular program, all your affiliates in that program will be able to connect their TikTok creator account to Social Snowball from their affiliate dashboard.
Once connected, they will be able to view the products you selected (and commissions) in their dashboard, and are able to add products to their showcase and create shoppable videos.

We recommend that you send an email update to your affiliates, explaining to them the opportunity to earn with TikTok Shop and showing them how to connect their TikTok account to Social Snowball. Here's an example email you could send:
Subject: 📣 New Opportunity: Earn with TikTok Shop!
Hi [Affiliate's Name],
We have some exciting news to share with you! 🎉 You can now connect your TikTok Shop Creator account to your affiliate dashboard on Social Snowball. This means you can start promoting our products on TikTok and earn commissions for every sale you drive through the platform!

Connect your TikTok Shop Creator account.
Start sharing our products on TikTok and watch your earnings grow!

Once your affiliates start connecting their accounts, you'll be able to see the connected profiles from the TikTok Shop tab, by filtering in the affiliates tab, and in the affiliate's profile page.
