Social Snowball allows you to send discount code payouts to your affiliates, with codes generated directly in your Shopify Admin.
To set up discount code payouts, navigate to the Programs tab in your Social Snowball dashboard and click on the program for which you want to implement discount code rewards.
From the program builder page, navigate to the Commissions section and choose Discount Code. Then, specify the type of discount code as either Fixed or Percentage.
Note: Each affiliate commission is processed as a separate payout. For instance, if you compensate an affiliate for five sales at once, they will receive five different discount codes as commissions for each (resulting in five separate discount codes). You can allow these discount codes to combine for the customer on checkout.
Here are a few settings that you may want to configure:
Discount codes apply to:
Specify whether the discount codes apply to all products, specific products, or collections.
Define if the discount codes are valid for all customers or a specific customer segment, such as customers who haven't made a purchase yet.
Minimum cart requirements:
Set any minimum cart requirements for the discount to be applicable, such as a minimum purchase amount or minimum order quantities.
Limit discount codes to single use:
Choose whether the discount codes can only be used once (single-use) or multiple times. By default, this feature is enabled.
These settings allow you to tailor how discount codes are applied and ensure they meet your specific promotional needs.
Once done, click Save & Exit.
Now, when your affiliates make a referral in this program, they will receive a discount code payout.
When a Discount Code payout is auto-approved or manually sent, the affiliate receives an email with the Discount code that looks like this:
Affiliates can also always access their Discount Codes in the Payouts tab of their affiliate dashboard by going to the Store Credit tab.
