You can generate a recurring commission for affiliates who refer subscription orders using Social Snowball. A new commission will be created every time the subscription renews.
To do this, you need to make some changes in your Shopify admin.
Log in to your Shopify admin and navigate to the Discounts tab. Once in the Discounts tab, open the discount folder associated with the program you want to enable subscription sale tracking for.
Please note that the discount folder is named after your Social Snowball program by default.
Within the discount folder, choose Both under Purchase type. This selection ensures that the discount codes and links for this specific program will be applicable to both one-time purchases and subscriptions.
Next, scroll down to the Recurring payments for subscriptions section and select your preferred option.
If you wish to attribute commissions to affiliates on a set number of recurring payments in the subscription, choose Limit discount to multiple recurring payments and type in the number of payments you wish to track in the box that appears after.
If you wish to attribute commissions to affiliates on all the recurring payments in the subscription, choose Discount applies to all recurring payments.
Once done, hit 'Save'. Follow suit in other Social Snowball program discount folders to generate recurring commissions for all your affiliates across all programs in Social Snowball.
