When a brand pays you through Snowpay, Social Snowball's built-in payout method, your earnings are sent straight to your bank account through Gigapay, a trusted payments partner that handles creator payouts securely and compliantly.
The first time you're paid, you'll set up a quick Gigapay account and choose where you'd like to receive your money. After that, claiming any future payout takes just one click. This guide walks you through both.
What to expect
Here's the whole process at a glance:
The brand sends your payout.
You receive an invitation email from Gigapay and set up your account (first time only).
You receive a payout email and click Accept to claim it.
You add the account where you'd like to be paid, and your money is on its way.
For every payout after that, you skip straight to accepting the email. There's no setup to repeat.
Your first payout: setting up Gigapay
The first time a brand pays you through Snowpay, you'll complete a short, one-time setup.
1. Open your invitation email
You'll receive an email titled "[Brand] invited you to receive payments through Gigapay" from [email protected]. This is legitimate, and simply means the brand uses Gigapay to pay its creators. Open it and click Go to Gigapay. Your invitation code is included and carries over automatically.
2. Set up your Gigapay account
Follow the steps in Gigapay to create your account. You'll confirm a few personal details and verify your identity, which is a standard requirement for sending payments securely and compliantly. It only takes a few minutes.
3. Accept your payout
You'll also receive a payout email letting you know your money is ready, for example "You have received a payout of $X from [Brand] through Gigapay." Click Accept to claim it.
4. Add where you'd like to be paid
Enter your bank account (or preferred payout) details and confirm. That's it. Your payout is on its way to your account.
Future payouts: one click to claim
Once you're set up, getting paid is effortless. The next time the brand pays you, you won't need to onboard again or re-enter your details. You'll simply receive the same kind of payout email, and clicking Accept sends the funds to your connected account.
If you'd like the money to go somewhere else, you can connect a different account at that point. Otherwise, it goes straight to the account you already set up.

Emails about your payouts come from Gigapay ([email protected]). They're a legitimate part of getting paid through Snowpay, not spam.
You only set up your account and payout details once. Gigapay securely remembers them for future payouts.
