You can manually attribute orders to an affiliate from your Social Snowball dashboard. This tool is useful for attributing any orders you want to pay commissions for to an affiliate that is not already attributed.
To attribute an order to an affiliate, navigate to the affiliate's profile from the Affiliates tab in your Social Snowball dashboard.
Click on the Attribute Referral button on the affiliate's profile page.
Copy and paste the Shopify Order URL or ID into the popup box that appears.
NOTE: You can fetch the Shopify Order URL/ID from the URL when you open the order's page in the Orders tab of your Shopify Admin.
For example:
👉 Order URL: https://admin.shopify.com/store/ss-production-test-store/orders/5477800014046
👉 Order ID: 5477800014046
Click Attribute Referral once done. This will attribute the order and trigger the New Referral Sale email (sent via Social Snowball or Klaviyo, depending on your email setup).
Note:
The commission amount attributed to the affiliate will be based on the commission set in the program settings they are part of.
You will also be able to see the attributed order on the affiliate's profile under the Timeline section.
